About Congregation Agudas Achim – Columbus, Ohio

Congregation Agudas Achim was founded in 1881 and is a pillar of the Columbus Jewish community. We are a traditional-egalitarian Conservative synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

We are first and foremost, a community of families and individuals of all levels of Jewish knowledge and observance. In addition to our weekday, Shabbat and Yom Tov religious services, we provide opportunities for children, teens and adults to explore their Jewish heritage through programs of formal and informal education. As a community, we are there to celebrate one another’s joyous life-cycle events and support each other through the inevitable difficult times we all experience sooner or later.
